Young Women's President

I don't know who lost their minds but I was called to be the new Young Women's President in our Ward. I've been in the presidency for over a year but I'm pretty sure that there are tons of better women in our ward than me. I know Heavenly Father will give me the wisdom and support I need to help these amazing girls through these tough years in their lives.

Senior Roast

SO we had 9 seniors who graduated this year from our ward so what better way to show them our appreciation then by embarrassing them? What a great night. All of the senior's families came with embarrassing stories, videos, and pictures...it was great! I got one of my friend's to make a cake and it turned out to be a fun night with good food and laughs!
The five senior boys
Victoria is going to BYU and Rachel is going to BYU-I :(...we're going to miss them
Micah and Don (nice face Micah)
Not sure what I'm doing but Christy is posing very nicely

My 26th Birthday...whew, getting old....

It is Wednesday, July 30th at I would say about 6:00 A.M. I start hearing all these knocks on the door. In my head I'm thinking, "Hmm, I bet it's someone leaving a nice card and they're gonna knock and run." Then I hear the house phone ring and the Happy Birthday song being screamed in to the answering machine. And an already dressed and surprisingly awake Micah looks at me and says, "You might want to get dressed." So I do and open the door and there are eyes peaking at me through a birthday poster. My friends got up...way too early, some before work, and took Micah and I out to breakfast. They are the best!

Don missed the picture but was nice enough to get up even earlier before work to come too!

Good times in Virginia

It is always so nice to visit with my grandparents
when we go to Virginia. We miss seeing them and wish that we
lived closer so that we could spend
more time with them. We had such a nice visit with them,
my parents, and my oldest brother's family.
