Three's Company

One of these days we'll take Max out to do a cool, picture worthy "first" but until then you'll have to keep looking at the three of us.

I know this is a little disturbing but I thought it was a cool picture

Max puts the "stink" in stinkin' cute

Max is two months old today. Some of his talents include:
smiling at Mommy and Daddy
pooping three times in one feeding
talking to Mommy
eating every two hours (still)
talking to the fan
sleeping for 5 hours straight (sometimes)
talking to the wall
Here he is modeling the tie onesie I made

We don't judge him for having a "muffin top"...his fat can spill on over.

Slow week...growing baby

This week has been boring for us. Since I'm still recovering from my nasty hematoma, and a cold that Micah and I are trying to get over...Max and I just hang out laughing and taking pictures.
He is getting more alert everyday. He smiles and "talks" to me all the time now. He is getting so fun and we are catching glimpses of how awesome it's going to be when he starts doing more. But at the same time I get so sad to see him growing so fast. I want my baby to stay small forever!

His cord fell off when he was about 2 weeks and this is one
of the first really alert pictures we got of him

First bath after his cord fell off. He loves getting baths! I hope he always loves the water.

Wonder Woman

This post is dedicated to my mom.
She left the comfort of her home and my Dad to
fly down to Alabama for 3 weeks.
I cannot begin to describe what a blessing she was and continues to be. Not only did she help with everything from diapers to cooking but it was so nice to
have company when Micah started back at school.
I love her more than she will ever know.
She taught me how to be a mother
and Max is lucky to have a woman like her in his life.

Holding grad child #10 in the hospital

First Sunday at home
She did LOTS of burping duty
And modeling the baby

Boy do I wish she was around for diaper changes ;)

Last pictures before she left to fly home to Virginia

Props have to be given to my Dad who so kindly loaned his wife out for 3 weeks.
No one sleeps well while their partner is away . So thank you Dad for 3 weeks of sleepless nights. We love you!

First Week Home

Our first week home was nice and relaxing. We had lots of wonderful visitors and just sat at home starring at this little guy.

Mary-Beth...neighbor, nursing school classmate, awesome friend, and now babysitter ;)
