Micah spent 5 weeks in Newport, RI for Officer Development School. He had to do lots of physical training and classes but he loved it all.

He said the hardest part was being away from Max and I. The hardest part for me was when they took their cell phones away for the first 3 weeks...but in the grand scheme of things, other military wives/husbands have to go through a lot worse so I'm counting myself very lucky!!

Max got so spoiled at Grandma and Grandpa B's! He couldn't wait for them to get home from work each day! He was like a little puppy and would crawl down the hall to the door as fast as he could. Max and I were very lucky to be able to stay with them while Micah was at Officer Development School in R.I. for 5 weeks. They also helped me find us a place to live for when Micah was done.



Max cut 4 teeth this month...fun times getting up with him 5+ times a night!

11 Months Old!!

I AM OFFICIALLY A WALKER!!
Max is no longer a passive angel baby. He is an active little boy and I have mixed feelings about it.
He loves birds and dogs and can now go after them
He used to say "MaMa" all the time but now that Daddy is back that is all he says
He loves to eat chicken, ham, turkey, veggies, goldfish, veggie straws, and cheese

So...
Never mind the fact that I'm now 10 months old.
Never mind that mom finally got around to making me a bow tie that I look smashing in.
Never mind that I am climbing stairs, standing by myself, and blowing kisses.

Forget all these things because I now say...

MAMA!!!!!!!!
I don't know what I was waiting for...maybe for Dad to leave and only have Mom to look at all day long.
